Double Bit Viking Axe
Two edges. One purpose. A working axe forged in the spirit of the Norsemen.
This double bit Viking-inspired axe combines the imposing presence of a traditional Norse-style double-bitted head with the practicality of a fully functional working tool.
Hand-forged from 1055 carbon steel, the head features a rugged vintage finish that gives it the character of an old, battle-worn piece. Both sides are decorated with intricate Nordic-inspired etchings, incorporating flowing knotwork and a striking dragon head motif that adds a distinctly Viking character without compromising the working nature of the axe.
The head is mounted on a carefully shaped hickory handle, chosen for its strength, resilience, and ability to withstand hard use. With its long 66 cm handle and substantial 1.1 kg total weight, this axe offers excellent reach and chopping power while retaining the balance expected from a hand-forged working axe.
This is not a wall hanger or purely decorative reproduction. It is a working axe, forged and finished by hand, designed to be used.
