The Rifleman’s Tomahawk is inspired by the practical belt axes carried by woodsmen, hunters, and frontiersmen throughout North America during the 18th and early 19th centuries. Its clean, symmetrical profile reflects a design philosophy where every curve and every ounce served a purpose—creating a lightweight yet highly capable companion for life in the wilderness.
Hand-forged from 1055 carbon steel, the head features a refined classic shape with crisp lines and a clean vintage finish that highlights the craftsmanship beneath every hammer mark. The slim profile delivers excellent balance, making the Rifleman’s Tomahawk equally at home in the hand, at camp, or proudly displayed as part of a traditional collection.
The handle is crafted from curly ash, selected for its strength and beautiful natural figure. Finished by hand to enhance the character of the wood, it provides a comfortable grip while complementing the understated elegance of the forged head.
Every Rifleman’s Tomahawk is individually forged, heat treated, ground, and fitted by hand in my workshop. No castings. No shortcuts. Just traditional blacksmithing techniques combined with modern precision to create a tool built to last for generations.
